Mardi Gras: A Taste of Cajun Creole Steakhouse and Seafood in Mount Pleasant

Delicious food and great customer service. Steak was one of the best we’ve ever had. Boudin was really good, and the sides yum!! My only problem was no coffee, but they gladly accommodated me with hot water to make my own. (Yes I do carry my own coffee to fix when traveling). We definitely recommend this place to eat.

First I want to say THANK YOU for the after midnight full menu. Next thing you should be aware of is that this is a night club. It appeared to be a casual attire atmosphere featuring a live dj. If I were younger this place would have been full on 5 star and I would have stayed until closing. With that said beware when you Google "food near me open" at midnight. The food was poorly presented as it took a great deal of searching to find the small bites of gator underneath the pile of what appeared to be fresh cut fries and though plentiful the fried pickles were extremely salty. However, the steak was perfectly cooked and I do recommend trying it for yourself. For 2 meals and 1 appetizer the cost was a whopping $93 with no drinks included. Finally, the service. The front door encounter was perfectly welcoming and they sent us to the bar to pick our food and there was when the stars fell as the first 2 employees told us that they didn't have any to go orders before finally another person dropped what they were doing and went to check. These encounters mirrored the phone conversation I'd experienced when calling in as the person actually hung up on me before I could get the total of the bill which I would have canceled before it was prepared. I think given the quality of service, presentation, and awkward proportions even considering today's economy the price was almost double the value.

Love the bartenders they are super friendly and make you comfortable ...had the fried shrimp ....chefs kiss chill vibes and great place to chill after work

Food had great flavor. I had two fried catfish filets on a bed of rice smothered in etouffe. The prices were very reasonable. Would've given 5 stars however almost every person at the table had to individually ask for silverware. I think we should've been seated with the proper amount. Oh well, I will definitely be back again when in Mt. Pleasant.

Nice selection of menu items, but they were out of a few items(supply was shorted). I recommend that if you want to take some tamales home, order them before you order your meal. It takes a while.

The waitress was a little slow with us being the only ones there. I had to walk up to where she was sitting at a table to ask where we pay. But the food was delicious, and I would definitely go back and give it another shot

The crawfish is SO DANG GOOD!!! The spicier, the better I always say. A great environment to be in especially around the owners and regulars!!

Me and my family ate here lastnight. Waitress was super nice, my wife and kids got crawfish and I got the shrimp basket. Food was fantastic! My wife said it was some of the best crawfish she's had in a while. My shrimp and fries were great. Would come back and eat here again.
